Why a platform fee instead of setup fees?

Pricing questions, answered

How does the $1 trial work?

Every plan starts with 14 days for $1. You pick a plan, pay $1 today, and the regular monthly price only begins after the trial. Cancel inside the trial and that dollar is all you ever spend.

What is the platform fee?

SiteTac charges 0.5–1% of storefront order volume depending on plan (lower tiers of fee on higher plans). It is how the platform stays aligned with your success instead of front-loading setup fees. Payment processing itself runs on your own gateway at your own negotiated rates — SiteTac never touches the transaction.

Does SiteTac process my gun sale payments?

No. You connect your own firearms-friendly gateway (Authorize.Net and NMI are first-class). Customer payments settle directly to your merchant account, so no platform policy change can ever cut off your revenue.

Are there setup fees or contracts?

No setup fees, no onboarding charges, and every plan is month-to-month. Yearly billing is available at a 20% discount but is never required. Compare that line item carefully when evaluating legacy gun-store platforms — setup fees of $750–$2,500 are common.

What happens if I outgrow my plan?

Upgrade any time from the dashboard; the new capabilities and the lower platform fee apply immediately. Downgrades take effect at the next billing cycle. Your storefront, catalog, and order history carry over untouched either way.

Do I need my own FFL to use SiteTac?

Yes. SiteTac is built for licensed dealers (FFL types 01, 02, and 07 running retail). If you are still working on your license, the free FFL tools on this site can help you find transfer dealers in the meantime.
